A new set of aerial maps in color, probably not photographic images but made from infrared information, from MapQuest. The black-and-white photo aerials are from the USGS site.

The Rook site offers maps suitable for daydreaming about canoe trips or actually planning them, because each map offers camp site locations and information about length and difficulty of portages.

The State of Minnesota's Lake Water Clarity page has a link to Secchi data for Lake Burntside: probably some Camp Van Vac guests have participated in gathering this data, which consists of lowering a disc into the lake and noting visibility depth.
