Work and Enjoy the Summer Too
at Camp Van Vac
I'm always looking for good summer help: Contact me if you're good-natured, show up on time, clean cabins like a dynamo, want to build muscles hauling wood and bailing boats, and still enjoy plenty of time off. If you can use a chain saw, are kind to the guests, and make us laugh on Saturday, so much the better.

Two live-in staff:
Get a place to stay in a small bunk cabin, home-cooked meals, and $5.50 an hour. Hours run from 7:30 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday; from 7:30 a.m. to 2-4 p.m. on Saturdays when we clean lots of cabins. There's always the possibility of a few more hours as agreed upon by you and me. The average work week totals 30 hours.
Four Saturday staff:
Will commute to work, join us for lunch, and earn $10 an hour. Hours are from
8 a.m. to 2-4 p.m. on Saturdays June 16 through mid-August. Additional hours may be available during the week, and early and late in the season.

We like to:
Teach you how to do the job, build trust, muscles, and confidence in our staff. Swimming in Burntside Lake is delicious, and the cooking isn't bad (you do the dishes). You can use our canoes and boats on Sunday or afternoons when you're not working. In return we ask you to do your very best for our guests.
